Healthy Power Break: Fruit Salad
Today I made myself a healthy and simple fruit salad with some blackcurrant sorbet ice. Because today is such a lovely day I really felt like eating some fresh fruit and some delicious icecream. Bucket List Must Haves: The Himalayas
Everybody has already thought about it. If you only had 1 year left to live, what would you do? In Bucket list Must Haves we will tell you what we would do! One that would certainly make the list and will probably be on the list of a lot of people, is traveling to the Himalayas.
I think there is not an adult person in this world who has not heard about the Himalayas. This mountain chain located to the north of the Indian subcontinent, has been a special place for a lot of different civilizations throughout the ages and still is today. There are 2 main reasons why I would love to go there. First of all I heard that it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I think that being there, standing on the edge of a cliff, makes you feel so small and puts you to think what is really important in life. It must be a wake up call for a lot of people, who ended up on a track full of stress, rushing and egoism. After this amazing experience it is likely that those people will be able to set the proper priorities like family, living a healthy life and doing things that come from your heart. Besides that, there is another reason. Namely the challenge to climb the highest mountain, the Mount Everest, as far as you can, trying to get to the top. I am a person that loves to test himself, to see what my limits are. I think mountain climbing is one of the hardest things, both physically and mentally, you can do. The Mount Everest is no less than 8848 meters high, so it is the ultimate test..
