The World Of Nuts

No, I am not referring to your math teacher or ex-girlfriend. I am referring to walnuts, hazelnuts, cashew nuts, pistachios and so on. Nuts are one of the healthiest snacks you can find, because this candy of nature is not only delicious, they also have a wide range of health benefits! We will give you them in a nutshell! 

It does not really matter which nut you prefer or eat, in general they all have several very important and healthy properties. First of all nuts are one of the best plant sources of protein. Furthermore they are rich in phytonutrients, fibers, vitamins and antioxidants such as selenium. Besides that nuts are also high in plant sterols and fat. Not the bad ones, but the good ones like omega 3! All of these properties translate themselves in several benefits. For example, they help lower blood cholesterol, prevent heart diseases and overall just help you keep your body running smoothly!

Doesn't this sound pretty sweet? Now, do not start eating entire bags of nuts every day, because unfortunately they still are pretty full of calories.. Just add them to you regular healthy meals and your beloved nuts will do nothing but good things for you!

If you don not like eating nuts you can mix them in a lot of different recipes. You can add them to your breakfast in your favorite cornflakes, your lunch in a fresh salad or your diner by making a walnut pesto  etc. 

Isn't this jaw-dropping that such a small thing can be so powerful? We sure think it is. Oh one final thing, keep in mind that there are people who are allergic to nuts. If you are not one of them, go nuts!
